About Me
My journey into civil engineering began with a strong foundation, earning a Diploma with high distinction from Panchayat Secondary School. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the prestigious Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus, where I graduated with First Division honors.
My academic focus has been on hydropower and hydraulic modeling, culminating in leading a final year project on the Sunkoshi Hydropower Project. In this role, I managed a team of six and utilized key industry software like HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D to perform comprehensive flow analysis.
Alongside my studies, I gained invaluable hands-on experience through internships where I supervised the construction of vital community infrastructure. I am now eager to apply this blend of rigorous academic training and practical skills to an entry-level role in the hydropower sector.
Key Projects & Experience
Flow Analysis of Sunkoshi Hydropower Project
Engineered a comprehensive 2D hydraulic model using HEC-RAS to analyze flow dynamics and validate design parameters. Led a team of six students in data collection, catchment analysis, and bathymetric survey.

Reassessing the Bus Priority Lane and Exploring the Feasibility of BRT in Kathmandu
International Journal of Engineering Technology and Infrastructure Development (InJET-InDev).
This research provides a comprehensive assessment of bus priority lanes and examines the viability of implementing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems in Kathmandu. The study analyzes current traffic management challenges, evaluates existing public transportation infrastructure, and explores sustainable mass transit solutions for Nepal's capital city. Through detailed traffic flow analysis and infrastructure assessment, the research identifies critical bottlenecks in Kathmandu's transportation network and provides evidence-based recommendations for implementing dedicated bus corridors, priority signaling systems, and modern transit infrastructure to address the growing urban mobility crisis.
